Hello Central VT Pickleballers,

Have you ever thought about becoming a pickleball instructor, either as a part time side hustle or full time? Or maybe you've already been coaching and would like to gain some teaching credentials. Green Mountain Community Fitness in Berlin, VT is offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable information and certification through a DUPR + RPPk clinic the weekend of April 5th and 6th at our indoor pickleball facility.

This 2 day course is designed with an accelerated curriculum for prospective coaches who want to gain knowledge around teaching both beginners and players with more experience. Join instructional guru, Derek Sawyer (https://www.instagram.com/picklosopher/), from 8 to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday with both classroom and on-court time where methodologies, progressions, drills and games will be discussed and put into action with your classmates.

Those showing proficiency and understanding of the content will walk away from the course with a DUPR + RPPk Level 1 and Level 2 Certification. This partnership between the industry-leading rating system and a long-time institution in international paddle and racquet sports is rapidly becoming the leader in pickleball coaching accreditation.

On a personal note, I recently attended a similar course in Florida with Derek Sawyer as my head coach, and the experience was top-notch. His approach, communication style and mastery of the techniques for teaching people good pickleball were outstanding. Having taken the PPR Level 1 certification several years ago I recognize that DUPR's partnership with RPPk brings a level of experience and quality to our sport that, in my opinion, will advance them quickly to become the educational platform of choice for professional coaches.
