I’ve signed in but obviously will be out if we don’t get a third court

Shannon

Owen S.. the Sunday 4.5+ group would be right up your alley!

THUMPER IS IN!!! I JUST PRESSED MY THUMB ON HIS NAME & ACCIDENTALLY TOOK HOM OUT

John

Are you missing a Ben Johns Joola racket? If so, I’m hoping you picked up my TMPR racket by accident. They may have been swapped around 2:30 on Wednesday.

Ryan

I believe you have the wrong person. I did not play on Wednesday

Shannon

John… I think Dan might have that paddle.

Nick

Thank you all for joining the Wednesday Day of DUPR. We will run these about once a month and will try to hit different days of the week, and offer more advanced notice.

And now that another round of data has been entered we would like to call attention to a few things...

1. The COMP designation requires you to have a DUPR rating that aligns with that event. So yes, if your rating is a 3.98 we ask that you please register for the regular 4.0 to 4.5 group and not the COMP group.

2. If you feel like your rating does not yet accurately reflect your playing capabilities then you can always play DUPR games on your own. Even during an Open Play game, if all 4 members of any game agree (prior to play) to log the score afterwards, then please do.

3. To log a score, open the app, select Add Match, enter names and score and submit. Members of that group will be asked to validate the game on their phones (does not have to happen immediately) and the score will be logged.

Thanks!

Nick

I will also add that it is not the responsibility of the players within our community to police any of our games. That is the sole responsibility of the Pickleball Director (me). I am mindful of the registrants for all of our Open Play games and these adjustments to our schedule, along with the growing accuracy of our DUPR ratings, allows me to have individual conversations as necessary. There are plenty of unique situations where a DUPR rating should not be the ONLY criteria for entering a COMP game. People may be managing an injury, or may have been a 4.12 for awhile and just barely dipped to that 3.98 level. Players may be coming to us as a high level tennis player and have not had the time to build up their rating. So please, please, please... respect the intention of the schedule and don't be confronting individuals on the court, nor shunning them because of a number. Let the person who knows the most about our community manage the details. If you have any questions or concerns please connect with me in person. Thank you.

Cathy

I’m so sorry, I’m not feeling well and need to sign out for tonight.

Greg

I’ll be #15, I won’t play if only 2 courts available
