GMCF is offering a unique opportunity to have one of the best coaches in the world of pickleball visiting our facility and offering a few different learning opportunities. Juan Benitez is a PPA Pro, coach to some of the top tour players and an experienced educator as the Head Pro at the Diadem Pickleball Complex in Coconut Creek, FL. He will be visiting Vermont in early June and we’re currently booking the following types of sessions:
Private Lessons ($180) - One hour of one-on-one attention. This offering is perfect for those wanting specific development on a handful of skills. You can come to the lesson with any technical weaknesses and Juan will apply his years of coaching experience to propel your technique forward. These sessions are available on Wednesday afternoon/evening June 3rd, and Saturday morning June 6th.
Semi-Private Lessons ($200 or $100/Player) - Grab your pickleball bestie and dive into an hour of individualized coaching. Choose a few topics you both need to work on and Juan will get you moving forward with your game. These sessions are available on Wednesday afternoon/evening, and Saturday morning.
Three-and-Me ($220 or $67/player) - One hour of full on play, with coach Juan rotating through all three players as a partner. This is great for those seeking guidance on tactics, position, shot selection and teamwork, as gameplay will inform discussions and teachable moments in real time. These sessions are available on Wednesday afternoon/evening, and Saturday morning.
2 Hour Clinic 3.5 to 4.0 ($100/player) - This two hour intensive will be a structured curriculum targeting those players trying to make the jump up into the advanced level of play. Coach Juan will be working with a maximum of 16 people to learn the key elements of higher level of play and how to get there. This session is from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, June 7th.

Attention Singles players - starting next week there are player lineup sessions for singles games for those wanting to practice for the Vermont Senior Games singles event being held at GMCF on Saturday May 30th, and those just interested in singles game play.
There are one hour sessions scheduled on Tuesdays from 10:15-11:15 and on Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 starting Tuesday 5/18 through the end of June. It’s possible these may continue past June 30th depending on people’s interest.
